The shim is a simple attachment between the Wakesurf Sharper and a boat’s hull. Every hull shape is different – some are mostly flat and don’t require a shim. Others have a step hull and require a 1″ shim – other boats have a more pronounced step and need a 2″ shim, while in some cases you might need both shims to make a 3″ gap between the hull and your Wakesurf Sharper. For installation – Eight.3 recommend the Wakesurf Sharper is 80% subgmerged when boat is properly weighted and as close to the stern as you hull will allow.

Drop Stitch is a pretty amazing material used to create the RAD, FAD, and PAD. This material allows HO Sports to build inflatable items that can be inflated to optimum rigidity while delivering the most durable inflatables they have ever offered. This innovative material is called Drop Stitch and is achieved by joining two pieces of support fabric together with thousands of fine polyester thread lengths. Each thread is spaced evenly and all threads are the exact same length. Next an air-tight coating is applied to the top and bottom of the support material to ensure an air tight seal. The result is Drop Stitch Construction. Drop Stitch construction is capable of achieving levels of pressure equal to 20 psi (1.4 bars) of pressure. The HO Sport Play Pads can be used on both land or in the water. Use as a slide pad, game pad and lounge pad on land. When used in the water the HO Sports Paly Pad makes a great home base for lounging when you’re waiting for your turn on the towable tubes. It also makes a great seat for deep water starts when using the RAD, FAD or water skies. The ultimate in water/land versatility. The Play Pad is available in two sizes to meet your group’s needs. There are a 10′ x 5′ (305 cm x 152.4 cm) and a 15′ x 5′ (457 cm x 152.4 cm) inflated versions.
